Plastic Jaguar is the bi-coastal (SF/NY) collaboration of Jordan Olberg and Scott Lingner, a friendship that started in college over a shared love of music and has evolved into something much bigger. Their sound weaves together a dense, detailed blend of guitar, piano, synth, brass, and woodwinds into a unique pastiche of psych-pop, post-punk, chamber pop, and jazz. The end result is music that is both emotionally dynamic and sonically adventurous, with no two songs sounding the same.

At the heart of Plastic Jaguar are two intertwined vocal perspectives. One moves from the inside out, beginning with raw feeling and private thought before opening into something larger and archetypal. The other works in reverse, starting from conversation and shared experience before turning inward to reveal the vulnerability beneath.

When these perspectives meet, they create the depth, tension, and intimacy that defines the band's sound.
