Plastic Jaguar is the experimental rock project of Jordan Olberg and Scott Lingner, weaving guitar, piano, synth, brass, and layered textures across psych-pop, post-punk, and jazz. Their debut album Afterparty moves through dynamic emotional range - comforting, unsettling, tender, abrasive - with each song offering a different permutation of the same core elements, like water taking the shape of a marsh, lake, river, or beach.

Lyrically, Afterparty traces the aftermath of collapse through two vocal perspectives: one that begins inward before opening into mythic meaning, and another that starts outward before revealing deep human struggle. Together, they explore what remains when an old life falls apart - the exhaustion, grief, and strange freedom that follows.
